This service is the fixing of anchors to the bench and the anchors into the ground. We first use a Scope to check for electrical cable underground. We position the bench, make small adjustments to ground surface so bench doesn't rock, fix anchor brackets to the bench leg, drive anchors (500mm long) into the grass with sledge hammer, use fixing tool to lock anchors into ground, fix plastic caps over anchors. The anchors are fitted to the outside of the bench.
The service includes either 2 or 4 anchors to soft ground depending on your selection above and is in addition to the delivery charge. If you select 2 anchors, the brackets will be fitted on opposing corners. If you select 4 anchors, all 4 legs of the bench will be fixed to the ground.

Please make sure the grassed area you propose is level. The bench will only be level if the base is level. We do not carry out levelling for you.
Whilst we make every effort to avoid hitting electricity cables (we use a Scope electrical cable avoidance tool), please note it is the customer’s responsibility to alert us of their presence. We cannot undertake works on the Highway or Pavement.
It is your responsibility to get get the landowners written permission for the bench to be installed.
The installation charge is non refundable if the installation fitter arrives on site on the agreed date but is unable to carry out the installation because the surface is not level, the site is locked, there are cables/pipes in the ground and there is no other suitable location or for any other reasons beyond our control.
You will be asked to provide photos, a location drawing and sign out installation agreement before work is carried out.
